Ted Kloosterman

After having been trained as an academic scientist and having enjoyed 10 years in academic laboratories, Ted has spent more than 25 years in the pharmaceutical and diagnostics industry. He has been active in a variety of roles such as in medical affairs (from CRA to CSO), strategic marketing, market access, business development and people management (from PM to VP), in companies such as Bristol-Myers Squibb, Roche, Schering AG, Celgene, Agendia and AbbVie with focus on immunology, hematology, oncology, pulmonology and eyecare/ophthalmology.


During the most recent years his focus was on new developments and the use of biomarkers in the treatment of patients with retinal diseases such as AMD, DME and RVO.


Finally, his experience in both national and international positions have given him the international exposure and cultural sensitivity necessary for optimal communication in international collaboration, his deep medical and scientific knowledge facilitating discussions with KOL’s on optimal treatments for their patients.
