Interim management
Interim management can be an excellent solution for temporary assignments. However, we see it too often used as a stopgap measure: a position that becomes available due to illness or maternity leave, or a project that needs to be managed temporarily.
In our view, this does not do justice to the potential of interim management. In our opinion, the DBA Act is not an obstacle – but an opportunity to do things differently.
We believe that interim management offers the opportunity to create movement. To tackle issues with a fresh perspective, implement changes or test new ideas. Why would you settle for a temporary position, if you can also make real progress?

Interim solutions
In the pharmaceutical and biotech industries, there is often a search for the 'five-legged sheep': someone who can effortlessly switch between medical knowledge, market access, stakeholder management, governmental affairs, marketing and sales. Although there are interim managers in the market with a lot of expertise, they are often specialists in only one of these domains.
At Health Devotion we support our interim managers in all these areas, by connecting them directly with experienced specialists. However, it can happen that a project is so complex that it cannot be carried by one person. That is why we have developed Interim Solutions.
In short, we work with you to identify the purpose of the project and then assemble a team of interim professionals who can deliver this assignment. Hours are only billed based on what is needed for the project – no more, no less. This provides a flexible solution without long-term contracts or a permanent team on the payroll, minimizing costs and risks for you. As soon as the organization can take over, or the project is terminated, the deployment stops.
Interim Solutions is also the solution for larger projects, such as product launches.
Product launches
The Dutch climate for the successful launch of innovative medicines is becoming increasingly complex and unpredictable. Where in the past a product registration offered a reasonable guarantee for a successful market introduction, nowadays there are more and more obstacles that make the chance of success uncertain.
Many companies sometimes have people on the payroll for more than three years for products whose right to exist is not yet certain. Large companies can often absorb this internally, but for smaller companies or companies that want to establish themselves in the Netherlands, this is often a challenge.
